The Addams Family

This year Forest Hill College is doing the Addams Family as the yearly production. The students and teachers have been working very hard for a long time and have just put the show together after doing their first run through during the three day production rehearsal that just past. The show is coming together with the final touches being added.

Production Camp

Every year the people involved with production come together on the Queen's Birthday weekend to put the show together. All day Friday, Saturday and Sunday the students and teachers spend their time going over songs, dances and doing a full run through. This weekend is also the weekend that costumes, makeup, hair, and sometimes the set and props are added to really make the show come alive. It's a tiring three days but it's all worth it because production camp is filled with fun, bonding time and yawning. It's always great to have the Monday off to relax before having a few more weeks of term two.

The Show

This is a family friendly show with some jokes for everyone. It's a great musical to watch and be amazed the whole time with the amount of talent coming off the stage. From the singing, dancing, and acting, it's a fabulous show that everyone will enjoy - whether you're into theatre or not.

The actual show goes for around two hours with an interval in the middle. The opening night will be July 21st and the play will be performed the Thursday and Friday after as well.
